HOW IT WORKS

WHAT’S IN THE KIT?

  • Professionally developed design for about 300 square foot garden for either sun or shade.

  • Nearly 200 native plants, including trees, shrubs, and perennials, sourced from our preferred nurseries.

  • All materials needed to build a healthy garden, including compost, mulch, and drainage rock.

  • Detailed instructions and training brochures/videos.

  • Delivery of all materials to your home (within 50 miles of DC).

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?

  • Customers located within 100 miles of D.C. for delivery.

  • Select your location(s) and measure the hours of sunshine it receives on an average day in spring or fall. >6 hours = Sun garden. <3 hours = Shade garden

  • Basic gardening ability and tools for DIY installation.

  • Careful attention to watering and maintenance for first 2 years to ensure viability.

DO YOU OFFER PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION?

Yes, we do! At checkout, be sure to select the option to "Add On Professional Installation". A team member will contact you to discuss details. Installation starts at $1,650 depending on site conditions.

WHAT IF I WANT DESIGN ADVICE?

Our team of experts can provide onsite design support for things like plant placement, unique spaces, stormwater issues, etc. At checkout, be sure to select the option to "Add On Designer Support". A team member will contact you to discuss details. Design support starts at $300 per two-hour session.
